
YOUTH PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITIES OF LOCAL REPRESENTATIVE BODIES. STATUS AND PROSPECTS (1991-2023)

This article explores the status and prospects of youth participation in the activities of local representative bodies in Uzbekistan from 1991 to 2023. The study examines the historical context, current challenges, and future opportunities for youth engagement in local governance. It analyzes the impact of government policies, societal norms, and economic factors on youth involvement in decision-making processes at the local level. The article also offers recommendations for enhancing youth participation and strengthening democratic governance in Uzbekistan.
