To date, the problem of traumatic injuries of the middle zone of the face remains extremely relevant. According to the WHO, the number of traumatic injuries is still on the rise. According to statistics, skull fractures and intracranial injuries account for 5.1% of the total number of all registered injuries according to the rates of injuries and poisonings and other accidents among the adult population in 2009. In the structure of total injuries, 1.7% is occupied by injuries of the eye and orbit. Patients with injuries of the midface require inpatient treatment in 85% of cases. Trauma to the bones of the facial skull accounts for up to 40% of the entire list of diseases in patients hospitalized for treatment in the departments of maxillofacial surgery, and accounts for almost 21% of the total number of victims with injuries in hospitals of medical institutions. Thus, the frequency of traumatism of the maxillofacial region, and in particular, the frequency of damage to the zygomatic-orbital complex, both in our country and abroad, does not decrease; on the contrary, there is an increase in the number of patients with this pathology.

This article discusses the features of retinal hemodynamics in elderly patients with vegetative dystonia syndrome. It is necessary to use functional methods of research, such as ophthalmoscopy, visometry, perimetry, biomicroscopy and a modern method of studying the retina - optical coherence tomography. This is important for the differential diagnosis of venous cerebral dysfunction, for correcting tactics and correctly assessing the results of drug therapy, and for predicting the course of the disease.

The article presents the results of studying the effect of the drug “Ecustim” on the electrolyte balance and the level of creatinine and urea in the urine. The diuretic activity of the drug “Ecustim” was studied on 24 white rats weighing 125-140 g. The volume of excreted urine was measured, and the concentration of potassium and sodium ions was determined by spectrometry on the ICP-MS spectrometer “Nexion-2000” USA. The drug “Ecustim” administered once intragastrically at a dose of 100 mg/kg, for 8 hours of observation increases diuresis 2.5 times more. With the introduction of the drug at a dose of 150 mg/kg, diuresis increases by 3.1 times, respectively. The experiment also determined the content of urea and creatinine in the urine. The drug “Ecustim” at a dose of 100 mg / kg stimulates the excretion of urea by 1.5 times and the excretion of creatinine by 1.4 times more than in the control group.

A new strain of coronavirus, the COVID-19 (CoronaVirus Disease-2019) pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2) is causing a rapid increase in cases and high death rates worldwide. Despite the effect of SARS-CoV-2 on the pulmonary system, it leads to the development of multiple organ failure, including due to damage to the cardiovascular system (CVD).

The purpose of this study was to identify the features of the state of the respiratory system and cardiac activity in children with autonomic dysfunctions, depending on gender. We examined 243 adolescents 12-18 years old with clinically and laboratory-instrumental confirmed dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system - autonomic dystonia syndrome. It was found that signs of cardiac abnormalities are more often observed in adolescents with SVD with a history of perinatal pathology, mostly in males. The risk of developing violations of bronchial patency was identified in adolescents with SVD with a history of perinatal pathology, to a greater extent in females.
